Some portrait practice

I enjoyed doodling as we were talking to family on phone. This is done from a picture of my husband. He is a lot better looking than this doodle, but I like it anyway.

This got me thinking about what they say about the planes of the head, which led me to looking up the various 'schools' of planes of the head, which then led me to the famous Asaro model. What would we do without the internet?

I might want to get myself this model some day, but for now there enough pictures of the model on the internet for me to copy from.
